Our Story
Some things can't be mass-produced. The smell of burning wood, the weight of iron forged by hand, the warmth of a mate shared between friends — these are experiences that belong to Argentina, and we believe the world deserves to feel them too.
DeMiPaisAR was born from an unlikely beginning: a road trip across the United States. That's where Mechi (Argentine) and Adri (Uruguayan), two people united by a love for their roots, met each other — and discovered something unexpected. Back home, their friends kept saying the same thing: "I miss a little piece of Argentina." That longing became the spark that started everything.
Their first step was partnering with skilled alpaca silversmiths from Argentina, master artisans who have been perfecting their craft for generations. Together they brought authentic, handcrafted mate gourds to customers across the world — a symbol of connection, tradition, and shared moments.
Then came the pandemic. Like everyone, Mechi and Adri had to adapt. Listening closely to their customers, they expanded into handcrafted iron products — grills, pizza oven doors, and asado accessories. That's when they partnered with a team of expert iron artisans from Buenos Aires, specialists in welding and ironwork, to develop a line of custom-designed, handmade products built with attention to detail and lasting quality.
Today, every item in the store tells a story. From mate gourds that evoke shared moments to grills that bring the flavor of Argentine asado to your backyard — DeMiPaisAR is more than a store. It's a love letter to the culture we carry with us.
