Preparing a Natural Gourd Mate

Before first use, cure the gourd: fill it with used yerba and warm water, let it rest 12-24 hours, gently remove loose inner fibers, rinse and let dry completely. Repeat if needed.

Care Instructions

• Do not use boiling water
• Empty the yerba after each use
• Rinse only the interior and let it air-dry completely
• Do not soak the leather or metal exterior
• Wipe the outside with a soft, dry cloth
